Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information CronSpark ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your email address and authentication identifiers, managed via our authentication provider (Clerk).
  • Job configuration: the URLs, schedules, headers, request bodies, and notification settings you configure.
  • Execution logs: response status codes, durations, and response bodies returned by the endpoints you configure us to call.
  • Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: basic request metadata (IP address, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate and provide the Service, including executing your scheduled Jobs;
  • To send you email notifications you have configured (e.g. failure alerts) via our email provider (Resend);
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • To monitor for abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service;
  • To improve and maintain the reliability of the Service.

3. Data Retention

Execution logs are retained according to your plan's history window (7 days on the Free plan, 30 days on the Pro plan) and are automatically deleted afterward. Job configuration and account data are retained until you delete your account or the relevant Job.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following sub-processors to operate CronSpark:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management;
  • PostgreSQL — primary data storage, self-hosted on our servers;
  • Resend — transactional email delivery;
  • Stripe — payment processing for paid plans;
  • Hetzner — application hosting infrastructure.

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies and security practices.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted storage of API keys (hashed, never stored in plaintext), encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and access controls limiting who can view your data.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete Jobs and account data directly from the dashboard, or contact us to request a full account deletion.

8. Children's Privacy

CronSpark is not directed at individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
